HDPE
& Stainless Type I Cans and Type I Polyethylene
Safety Cans are impervious to many liquid chemicals,
acids, caustics, solvents and corrosive and help
reduce danger of explosions. These high-density
polyethelene cans are dent and puncture resistant
and feature corrosion resistant stainless steel
fittings and flame arrestors and have brass
grounding connectors. Optional F-16 HDPE funnel aids
in filling and dispensing. Type I Stainless Steel
Safety Cans feature 24- gauge Type 316 Stainless
Steel construction and are ideal when high solvent
purity is essential. Both types of cans are FM
approved and meet OSHA and NFPA Code 30
requirements.
High
Density Polyethylene Type I Safety Cans meet OSHA
requirements, are Factory Mutual (FM) approved, and
help reduce the danger of explosions resulting from
ignition of vapors of flammable liquids.
These
cans are impact resistant, non-corroding, and will
not rust. They are impervious to many liquid
chemicals, solvents, and corrosives. Resistance
charts are available upon request. Metal fittings
and flame arrestor are made of stainless steel.
