I GALVANIZED SAFETY CANS
  Galvanized Type I Safety Cans meet OSHA and NFPA
Code 30 requirements and re FM, UL and ULC approved
for safe handling and storage of gasoline and other
flammable liquids. These type I cans feature deep
drawn, 2-piece, no-weld construction with no top or
side seams, non-sparking brass pour spout and flame
arrestor and a spring- closing lid with neoprene
gasket that safely relieves internal pressure at 5 psi.
The cans are finished with a bright red enamel paint
with yellow silk-screened label in English, Spanish
and French. These cans are also available in blue for
kerosene and yellow for diesel and include specific
labeling. The optional F-15 HDPE funnel fits the 1,2
and 5 gallon cans and makes filling and dispensing
easier.
Lead-free cans feature environmentally friendly
Lead-free technology , constructed of 24-gauge hot
dipped galvanized steel. Other manufacturers safety
cans use lead coated terne steel. Cans meet OSHA 29
CCFR.1910.106, 1925.152 and NFPA Code 30 compliance.

Type
I Stainless Steel Safety Cans are made
completely of sturdy 24 gauge type 316
stainless steel in 2½ and 5 gallon
capacities. Stainless steel flame arrestor.
Electric seam weld joins top and body.
Sturdy 16 gauge shock rim for bottom
support. Models 1313 and 1315 have Teflon
gaskets, while models 1314 and 1316 have
leather gaskets.
